This policy applies to visitors of the Site and to anyone who contacts BWL by email, phone, or through the Site to ask about truck leasing, trailer leasing, rentals, equipment sales, or fleet solutions.

It does not cover information collected under a signed lease, rental, or purchase agreement, credit application, or other contract. Those documents describe how information is handled for that relationship and take precedence over this policy where they conflict.

Information you give us

When you email us or send a quote request, we receive what you choose to include, typically:

• Your name, company name, phone number, and email address.
• Details about the equipment you need, such as type, quantity, specifications, lease or rental duration, timing, lanes, and locations.
• Anything else you write in your message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers keep standard access logs when you visit. These record your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you requested, the time of the request, and the referring page. We use these logs to keep the Site secure, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on the Site. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Information from other sources

If you become a customer, we may receive business, credit, insurance, or driver information from you or from third parties as part of the leasing or rental process. That information is collected under the applicable agreement, not through the Site.

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to your inquiry and prepare quotes and equipment options for you.
• Communicate with you about your request, availability, terms, and follow-up.
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site, including limiting repeated or automated requests.
• Keep business records and comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
• Protect the rights, property, and safety of BWL, our customers, and others.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers. Companies that help us operate the Site and our business, such as web hosting and email delivery providers. They may process information only to provide services to us.
• Professional advisers. Accountants, lawyers, insurers, and similar advisers where needed to run our business.
• Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
• Business transfers. If BWL is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

When you contact us we reply by email or phone to the details you provided. We may send a brief confirmation that we received your request. We do not add you to a marketing list without your permission. If you ever receive a promotional email from us and no longer want them, reply and tell us, or email bwlfleetleasing@gmail.com, and we will stop.

We keep inquiry emails and quote requests for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, follow up, and maintain business records, and then delete or anonymize them. If you become a customer, records are kept for the life of the relationship plus any period required by law, tax rules, or our insurers.

Server access logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting and are then rotated out.

The Site is served over HTTPS, and we use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send highly sensitive information, such as full Social Security numbers or bank credentials, through the Site or by unencrypted email.

You can, at any time:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law or under a contract.
• Opt out of any marketing communications.

To make a request, email bwlfleetleasing@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. Where those laws apply to us, we honor them. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. The Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because it does not track visitors across other sites.

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Site may link to other websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
